I never review fast food places- it doesn't feel sensible since most of the food is prescribed anyway. And honestly, the food was just your average subway food (and as an East Coaster, we are generally vehemently opposed to Subway). But, I found myself at this location today picking up two subs (and because I AM an East Coaster, I feel like I need to justify my choice by shirking the blame and stating, for the record, that it was a PBIS reward choice for one of my students). When I arrived, the lady at the counter could only locate one of the subs. I maybe waited for about 2 minutes while her co-worker assisted a customer on drive thru. He found the sub right away. It was not a big deal at all. The incredible individual working the register apologized profusely (again, totally unnecessary) and offered me a cookie for my time. She offered her favorite, which was the Reese's. I then must have just randomly mentioned my students and she threw in two more cookies (one a chocolate chip, in a separate bag, in case my student had food allergies). Finally, I was holding a soda that I forgot to add to my order. She told me to not worry about it and to have a great day. The friendliness was just overwhelming and honestly made my day. It has been a rough year for everyone and I give so much credit to our food service workers who have endured a great deal of conflict during this pandemic. I wish I remembered to get this woman's name. If you are reading from corporate, I went on Tuesday, March 9th at 9:55 AM. I am going to see if I can also call the store to convey this as well.
I usually come to this subway because it's around the corner and plus it has a drive through! Service has usually always been great!
